22nd Annual Benefit & Silent Auction

The Gamma Phi chapter of Alpha Delta Pi, in collaboration with the East Tennessee Alumnae Association of Alpha Delta Pi, proudly hosted their signature philanthropy event—the 22nd Annual Benefit & Silent Auction—on April 12th, 2025 at the Johnson City Country Club. This remarkable event in support of the Southern Appalachian Ronald McDonald House Charities, Inc. and the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation.

We are thrilled to announce that the event raised an impressive $31,000, bringing our total contributions for the academic year to $38,000! A special thank-you goes to Benefit Chairs Ciera Clark and McKendra Norris for their outstanding efforts in organizing such a successful event, as well as to the campus, community, parents, and alumnae for their invaluable support of this important cause.

ETSU Awards and Honors

On Thursday, April 10th, 2025, Alpha Delta Pi was honored with the prestigious ‘Order of Omega Academic Excellence’ Award. Alongside this recognition, several members achieved remarkable individual honors during the annual campus Summit awards.

Shelby Koerten, Alpha Class of 2024, proudly received the ‘Best New Member of the Year’ award, while Elizabeth Robinson, Alpha Class of 2021, was celebrated as the ‘Unsung Hero.’ Additionally, Gheed Al Saji, Alpha Class of 2022, earned the ‘College Panhellenic Impact’ award. Aashi Vora, Alpha Class 2023, shined by receiving the ‘Dorman G. Stout Jr. Student Leadership Endowment’ and contributing to the ‘Best Diversity Event of the Year’ through her work with the South Asian Student Association.

1911 Society – Brooke Patterson

Brooke Patterson, Alpha Class 2020, was inducted into the ETSU ‘1911 Society’ in April 2024.
Founded in 2020 and named in commemoration of the year of the founding of ETSU, the 1911 Society recognizes the university’s most notable graduates from undergraduate, graduate and professional programs. The ‘1911 Society’ is the highest honor a college student can earn through their years at ETSU. Brooke joins chapter alumnae Taylor Osborne, Pamela Avendano-Rubi and Katelyn Haun as recipients of this distinguished honor.
